Hubungan yang erat ini dapat disaksikan semasa keberangkatan Baginda ke Majlis Sambutan Awal
Tahun 1442 Hijrah di Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah pada 19 Ogos 2020 di mana Baginda berkenan
beramah mesra bersama para jemputan yang hadir. Selain itu, pegangan agama juga menjadi
keutamaan Baginda. Ini dapat dilihat melalui titah Baginda yang menekankan agar rakyat dan penduduk
negara ini sentiasa menjadikan Al-Qur’an sebagai teman rapat untuk memperoleh kebahagiaan dunia
dan akhirat, iaitu semasa keberangkatan Baginda ke Majlis Pengurniaan Hadiah Musabaqah Tilawatil
Qur’an Belia Asia Tenggara (MTQBAT) Ke-9 pada 5 Disember 2019.
This close relationship could be witnessed during His Majesty’s presence at the national celebrations for
the Islamic New Year 1442 Hijrah at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah on 19th August 2020, where His Majesty
consented to meet with congregants at the event. In addition to this, religious faith is also a priority of His
Majesty’s. This could be seen through His Majesty’s titah during His Majesty’s visit to the 9th Southeast
Asian Youth Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQBAT) on 5th December 2019, in which His Majesty stressed
that the citizens and residents of this country must make the Holy Qur’an a close companion in order to
attain happiness both in this world and in the hereafter.
